Yanmar Shoots Up Davey Pump Supplier Rankings
As a key supplier to Davey Water Products, Power Equipment (the Australian authorised Distributor of Yanmar diesel engines) has received a huge accolade from Davey being ranked as Davey's third best supplier
Under Davey's Supplier
Performance Evaluation program, Davey ranks the performance of all
suppliers. Factors included in the rating process include
quality, delivery, cost and a rating by Davey's Account
Manager. With many suppliers on Davey's books, achieving a
top three rating is a real accomplishment

Yanmar diesel engines have been supplied to Davey over an extended period. Currently Davey sources two Yanmar engines, the air cooled Yanmar L series and the multi cylinder TNV series.
The Yanmar L Series engine is used for fire fighting applications. Organisations such as Queensland Fire Service, the Country Fire Authority, farmers and small property owners are all users of the Yanmar powered Davey fire fighting pumps. Under heat and extreme operating conditions, the Yanmar diesel engine is more stable operationally and capable of delivering high pressure pumping performance.
The Yanmar TNV engine is coupled to Davey's ISO pump range. This application is quite different in that the need is for volume pumping capacity both on the land and in industry. Whether in an irrigation or mining application, the Yanmar TNV is required to operate continuously for extended periods.
According to Mark Butterfield (Manager, Projects Group) at Power Equipment, the business relationship between Davey and Power Equipment is first rate.
